Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Carpathians, Magura Group of Nappes, pPaleogene, Soláň Formation, Lukov Beds. Small quarry exposing two beds of weathered rusty subarkose, separated by 20 cm thick layer of laminated siltstone. Sandstone beds arer positively graded with sole marks. Microfossils were not found.
